People are different from everyone else. Well, of course they are because it would be boring if we would all be the same.
Can I tell you the reason people make fun of me? It is because I look different.
Once, a boy in my class said to me, ‘ You probably weigh as much as the fattest woman on Earth. ‘
I kept quiet and didn’t tell anyone. My mum and dad and teachers say I’m too quiet in class, and they are not wrong.
I look different and ever since I got my glasses, people started laughing even more!
Who is different? Tell me!

How dare that boy say that!!!! Trust me Sari, boys say all sorts of things… even when they *like* a girl, they might still make fun of her — sometimes even *more* so when they like her.
At my primary school, the boys who liked certain girls made fun of things like how they ate and how they looked. It’s called attention-seeking — they want attention.
As long as you know that Allah created you and that you’re beautiful. And! Try coming up with some good comebacks! Don’t let the bullies win — that’s how they work. They’ll always ‘find something’, and often they exaggerate and lie. They’re just weak like that!
