What do you wish you could do more every day?

First of all, hi everyone.

Recently, since Ramadan started, I’ve kind of been in a rush, especially near Iftaar because I need to come back home quickly.

Although, I can’t say I’m always busy just from Ramadan. Since I started Secondary. With all the homework and everything that i just have to do tires me out. I have no time to even have half an hour rest because as soon as I come hone, I have to pray Zuhr and Asr then get ready to go to mosque.

And on the weekends, I dont really have much time to myself because I have to do homework and read for a bit and sometimes I go shopping.

So to answer this question.. I wish I could have more time to think about things that’s going on in life everyday. I also wish that I have more time for my family and more to myslef because I need it.

NOW, for some GOOOD NEWS!!!

so basically, there is this competition called the ‘Young Writer’s Competition’. I heard about this from my cousin at first. But then my school announced it. The first competition was called ” Integer” – which was a competion based on an 100 word number story. Mine was called ‘ Number 6’. And allhamdulilia, few weeks later, I got a letter saying mine is going to be published and I even got myself a copy of the official book.

The secon competion was called ‘ The Power Of Poetry’. I decided to write mine about football. Literally yesterday at school. my form teacher gave me a letter and it said that this poem is going to be published in a book!!!

The third competition I entered was called ‘ Idol poetry’. So I wrote mine about my bestest friend, Iman. TODAY, a lot of letters came and one of them was mine, and it was from the Young Writers. My poem ” Soul Sister” which is about Iman, is going to be published. They gave me a certificate and a bookmark to show how muvh they loved it!!!

Allhamdulilia, my life has changed a lot recently in so many ways and I’ve been so happy. Some very small things, but they are at the back of my head..

I remember in Primary, I never used to like writing poems/ haikus- yet right now I am a ” Published Author”. That’s what my cousin said to me!!!!!!!!
